ORLANDO
The World’s Number One
Family Vacation Destination
In the early 70s, Orlando became an unsuspecting player in the world’s vacation destination arena. Little did they know back then that Central Florida was to become the number one destination for vacationing families thanks to a world dreamt by Walt Disney.
Today, Orlando is home to multiple Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom), as well as Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure theme parks, SeaWorld Orlando and many more spin-off attractions from both major theme parks and smaller entertainment companies.

Florida’s pleasant warm weather and mild winters made outdoor attractions an appealing staple of the region but it also created opportunity for water parks such as Wet’n Wild as well as Disney’s Typhoon Lagood and Blizzard Beach. Add to that the many golf courses and beaches on each coast of Central Florida and chances are you will never want to leave after your vacation.
All in all, Orlando offers the world’s largest concentration of major attractions in a single city and it has made hospitality and tourism synonymous with the heart of the Sunshine State. Without question, there is no better place in the world to enjoy your vacation than in Orlando, Florida.

There is so much to do after the sun goes down. Thanks for Florida’s pleasant evenings all year round, you have plenty of options to do as much—or as little—as you want:

International Drive
One of Orlando’s staples of tourist dining and shopping, International Drive (or I-Drive, as it is known by the locals) offers 4 miles of restaurants, lounges and attractions that include mini-golf, Ripley’s Believe it or Not and Pointe Orlando, an exciting entertainment center with restaurants such as Opa Taverna, a Greek dining venue with dancing and toe-tapping musical excitement.
